Perth Part 7 - Harbour Town & 54 Montoro

Hem baru berkesempatan nak continue update the adventure...kalau weekend mesti berebut sapa nak pakai broadband...and nowadays King lak very active kat FB....mama selalu kalah ler...

Now I am going to write the third day we all kat sana..

Day 3 Tuesday

Well I rasa malu kat Ushama coz dah banyak kali janji nak masak...at last I berjaya buat breakfast. I dah familiar dengan dapur sibujang ni...I goreng meehoon ler (or is it beehoon?) l Yap I tengok the price for the meehoon AUD2.20 hem cuba convert jadi berapa ringgit...ha..ha..King kata kalau asyik duk convert je tak makan kita ma..he..he...I used to study accountancy kan...So as I masak banyak..and I seronok coz dia orang ada kicap favorite I tuk goreng meehoon ni...ABC and Kipas Udang...wonderful! So apa lagi packed bawak bekal ler ha ha tak sempat sampai city pun the boys dah mentong lagi meehoon tu dalam van....then today we all checked out from Thornlie..yap we all checked in to the rental house 54 Montoro Dr its somewhere kat Port Kennedy (dalam Rockingham) jauh tu about 45 minutes from Perth...tu je yang ada bila booked last minutekan...Rasanya one week AUD850...4 bedrooms, 2 toilets, laundry (washer & dryer), pool and swimming pool...The kids really loved it!

But before that we all ke Harbour Town dulu..again nak parking susah coz van ni tinggi so we all kena lah jalan sikit...

Oh my..my....syoknya kat sini...my boys macam tak tau nak masuk kedai mana..as usual their fav City Beach tu lah....Yap Billabong, Quicksilver, Roxxy and ntah apa-apa lagi. Myself I suka Sheridan.....And of course as usual...everywhere you pergi you akan jumpa Melayu......berbas-bas dia orang datang. Sometimes I wonder gak betul ke sekarang ni economy tak ok? Hem...can add as soalan bodoh that I am going to ask King....he..he..Nak makan kat sini memang tak susah ( I rasa kat Perth memang tak de problem nak makan langsung) Halal kebab pun ada kat sini so no worries.....

Well sampai tak sedar dah nearly 5 pm...OMG groceries tak buat lagi..nak masuk rumah baru..nanti nak makan per...wua..ha..ha....Rasanya by 5 pm semua orang dah tutup kedai..ish pemalas betul lah mat salleh ni....he..he...IGA bukak kot tapi sempat ke? So solution...Amar and Nurul ler jadi mangsa..dia orang belikan groceries then hantar ke Port Kennedy...then they all pun tidor situ sekali. We all masak dinner..makan and of course ler laundry. The house really superb! The boys and girls lak sibuk duk cuci swimming pool..ish..sejuk lak for me...

Perth Part 6 City of Perth

Day 2 monday
Dah good morning mama princess cakap...I woke up dengar bunyi kucing..opps rupanya tuan rumah ada bela kucing, nak mintak masuk rumah..and the cat so big...takut princess. Tapi we all tak ambik lak gambar si Boy ni...
That morning King, Pak Nah & Omar pergi Lebanese store beli groceries. King cakap everything ada kat situ...just name it. Ushama kat rumah prepared breakfast for us. Malu I orang bujang yang masak..well I tak familiar lagi dengan kitchen they all so sorry lah I nak pandai-pandai invade.....Promised him tonite I masak (namun janji tinggal janji...)

After buat laundry and breakfast (tell you bukan senang nak suruh all the 8 kiddo bersiap) At last berjaya gak we all keluar..he..he...hala tuju ke City of Perth ler....
Kat sini jam free la...tapi problem we all nak cari parking coz our van ni tinggi..most of covered parking ada limit 2.2 meter dianye height. So we all kena cari opened parking la. Nak operate parking meter lagi satu hal..ha..ha..I managed to solve the problem..bayar parking pakai credit card?

So xcited ni nak jalan-jalan kat Murray Street and Hay Street Mall. Hari ni still panas lagi tapi tak lah macam semalam...ish ish risau...I.

Tengah jalan-jalan ada sorang Pak Cik bagi salam..he's wearing uniform written City of Perth. So King memang suka layan orang borakkan....his name Ahmad Sharuddin from Perak, dulu kat Krimas Island buat mining..then settled down kat Perth. Dia kerja dengan local council City of Perth. Then he told us ada restoran Ihsan kat end of the road...tapi sampai balik pun we all tak sempat pergi. We had lunch kat Levant Halal Lebanese Food...sedap you..Ni Pak Nah yang recommend. Pak Nah actually dah pernah datang Perth 2 years ago so dia ingat lagi la...Lupa nak citer kat city ni mana-mana you melangkah Melayu everywhere...King jumpa officemate dia kat Dave Jones..oh my my what a small world.

The guys excited sangat dapat pergi Cante shop...they bought rugby ball. Qobb lak beli glove and he's eyeing the body amour..dia kata kat Malaysia around RM300..well he managed to bodek his Pak Nah...dia senyum from ear to ear. The other shop yang they all keep on keluar masuk City Beach..well ..well dia orang cakap mama Quicksilver dia murah giler....Hem no comment guys!

I macam tak caya I ate uncooked food?


From city we all pergi Freemantle lagi. Kali ni Pak Nah kata nak beli seafood nak bawak balik Thornlie. We all went to Kailis'..at first nak beli and bawak balik tapi termakan lak kat situ..tempting la. The food was very very nice. Lepas we all bangun je seagulls terus terpa table we all..OMG..terkejut we all..tadi masa we all makan nampak behave sangat burung-burung tu..Makan makan tengok jam kul 6..Oh My God kul 6 waktu Malaysia la mama...kat sini dah kul 7. We all lum solat lagi...Panic sekejap. Solution? The guys sembahyang kat park je ramai-ramai, me and Mak Nah solat dalam van. Settled. Then the guys continue main rugby kat park tu..Sampai maghrib pun tak nak balik...sampai lupa I promised Ushama nak masak dinner oppss....
Sampai Thornlie around 9.00 pm kot...rupa-rupanya hari ni birthday Ushama..yang ke 13? Coz Nurul bawak keluar no 1 dulu then no 3..he..he..Omar lak buat BBQ..sedap dengan salad yang fresh and the baked potatos.

Perth Part 5 Thornlie

After kids dah puas hati tengok semua yang ada kat Caversham Park tu..we all pun terus lah menuju ke Thornlie rumah Ushama Abd Aziz and Omar Abdul Aziz the two handsome brothers. Both of them dah PR kat sini coz since high school lagi dia orang dah migrate ke Perth ni...We arrived around 5.30 pm..so baru lah nak mandi, solat and of course rest! Myself tak tido since last nitekan...God penatnye...Tadi King dah remind semua niat Jamak Takhir..so settled la...The brothers masakkan we all nasi ayam..Thank you guys..sedap.

This is Omar....baru realised gambar Ushama tak de...Princess called him uncle tall...dia cakap I takut you..you tall. He..he...dia masak sedap....

Tha backyard...King and the kids main bola..behind the fence tu ada padang lagi besar...Kids pi main rugby the next day ...dia orang cakap best. Kat backyard ni ada tempat BBQ, line untuk jemur baju luas gak. We all realised the bunga raya sama macam kat sini tapi daun and batang dia different....

We like the house. Thank you guys for your hospitality...:o) Malamnya the other brother Amar came over dengan his new bride Nurul. They all stay kat Bentley..near Curtin University. We are lucky to meet Nurul coz dia memang buat ground arrangement for tourist yang datang Perth. Her mother ada travel agent kat Seremban, so all the ground arrangement kat Perth the mother sub to her. Bestkan kerja dia jalan je......From her we discovered Harbour Town- The Outlet Mall...yaap being Malaysian mesti cari outlet mall kan! Malam tu thought nak gi King's Park lagi tapi semua dah tak leh angkat mata.....dah good night la mama princess cakap....So thats how we spent our day one in Perth.

Perth Part 4 - Caversham Wildlife Park

1.30 pm (sunday) After Freemantle Market terus ke Swan Valley just nak looked around tengok the vineyards...well OZnye fall tak macam kat US or Europe kan..or maybe coz it's early autumn? Daun-daun dia tak changed colour pun.... then terus ke Caversham Park the kids dah tak sabar nak jumpa Joey...The park is just 16km from Perth. Located in Whiteman Park..that is consider the entrance to Swan Valley. Its a private built wildlife park set in a natural bushland... so the price a bit costly. Kat notice board dia mentioned that they have 200 species and over 2000 animals including Koalas, Tasmanian devils, wombats,possums,dingos..and of course Mr Kanga. Kat sini ada gak camels ride and Billy the farm animals where you can see the pigs (nope sampai OZ nak tengok pig?),ponies,goats and may be chickens.

Men in my life posed dengan Mr Kanga...o..princess pun ada...Kangaroo dia jinak ye tak kisah you nak rub dia ke...tapi mana anak dia ye....Dah biasa dengan human touch kot!

How I wish I boleh jadi Koala ni...tidur je...20 jam jaga just 4 hours. They claimed coz koala ni cuma makan the eucalyptus leaves (minyak kayu putih from daun nikan...) so tak cukup energy nak jadi active. Kira dia orang ni tak ada tenaga libido eh? Tapi I suka lak bau eucalyptus ni....

Well the devil himself..Tasmanian Devil. Rupa kecik tapi..once dia gigit tak kan lepas...up to few kilos gak dia boleh carry kat mulut dia yang comel tu..eee..takut. De Javu kot to Pak Nah and Mak Nah coz dia orang dulu studied kat Tasmania. Me and King kantoi...supposedly we all pun pi OZ further study lepas SPM tapi masa tu TOEFL easier than SST la..so JPA hantar we all pi US instead :) thanks god!

The wombat tak nak keluar asyik tidur je...sampai nangis princess nak tengok wombat....Lepas jalan-jalan ni we all the parents dah tak larat nak jalan..we asked the kids to go sendiri-sendiri. Of course tak cuak coz the boys adakan to look after yang kenit-kenit tu...We all duk kat cafe minum he..he..macam Koala tak ada energy...Tapi hari ni memang panas terik...macam ni ke fall dia orang tak sesuai.....God..kulit I dah bertukar jadi kulit King...ish..ish..

Perth Part 3

Scenery kat Freemantle....I told the kids orang ni kena sumpah terus jadi batu..macam si Tenggang....

10.00 am (Sunday ) we left King’s Park pergi Freemantle.

Freemantle ni situated at the mouth of Swan River (Romantic River...) I rasa kalau kat Europe may be Danube River kot...Kalau kat KL tak kan Gombak River tak sesuai....About 19 km from Perth (thanks to our navigator without GPS pun sampai...)Jangan tak tau convict labour was used to build many of the original buildings kat Freemantle ni. Its a busy fishing and cargo port.

Kat sini ada tram for you to "hop on,hop off" to discover Freemantle(and its free...). Tapi we all tak naik lah cam ner dengan strollernya...macam train berderet...We all terus tuju Freemantle Markets and Oh My god... tengok all the fruits yummy the plums, nectarine....I rasa orang Perth umur dia orang panjang lah..fresh fruits and vege, fresh dairies, everything slow tak de rushing macam kat sini....And of course la you pusing mana pun kat pasar ni ada je muka Melayu..rasa cam kat KL lak (bukan Chow Kit coz kalau Chow Kit macam kat Indon). Not advisable beli souvenir kat sini coz mahal...tempat touristkan. Kalau nak beli souvenir gi E-Shed Markets..much much cheaper nanti I citer later. Then ada lak sorang mamat OZ ni jual fruit peeler then dia cakap Melayu..ha..ha..I teringat my x-boss from OZ dulu Chris Meehan...macam rupa dia je..end up we bought it coz terpegun dengar dia cakap Melayu...so boleh imagined lah betapa ramainya Melayu kat Perth ni...

Then the kids dah tak sabar nak tengok Mr Kanga a.k.a Joey so okay lah..we left Freemantle Market terus ke Swan Valley tak sempat pun round downtown dia..later ah..Mind you hari ni very hot...myself yang putih (perasan) ni dah naik ireng...ish ish nanti setaraf ngan King lak...tak bawak sun block lak tu..

Perth Part 2

Day 1 Sunday 6.00 am Perth International Airpot (kecik je lebih kurang Pengkalan Chepa ha..ha..).....

Berjaya dah keluar from the arrival hall. Then King and Pak Nah terus pi ke Europcar Car Rental. We all dah booked 12 seater coaster(Toyota Hiace) from Malaysia lagi(the power of internet). Then kecoh nak solat kat mana dah suboh ni...jeng jeng ...yang ni I puji lah Perth disebabkan terlalu ramai Melayu/Muslim kat sini(kat airport ni depan belakang, kiri kanan you akan jumpa Melayu he..he, kat airport ada surau..opposite Europcarnya counter. Alhamdulillah settled...the boys solat dulu then kena jaga yang kenit kenit ni...Both King n Pak Nah still busy kat Europcar.

Tunggu King and Pak Nah solat we all the mother of four and the kids explored luar airport. Ma bau dia macam kat Vienna Oyeek cakap ha..ha..Ye lah guys bau macam masa winter...Ingat tagline dia "In Austria there are no Kangaroos"..tapi kita kat Australia banyak kangaroos ni...

The guys cakap langit dia cantik...ye lah guys mama agree. Masa ni kul 7.00 pagi rasanye..memang windy angin kuat, tak sejuk tapi bila kena angin mengigil gak....
Ni lah our 'moving home'. Bayangkan lah with 8 kids inside macam mana rupa interior dia..:o)

Betul tak I cakap macam Pengkalan Chepa je...may be slightly smaller...

7.00 Left airport. Alhamdulillah semua muat masuk van, the luggage,the kids he..he..
Actually we all punye plan ni consider last minute gak. Mula2 plan dulu nak gi bulan May tapi then Pak Nah changed his mind dia kata kalau winter nanti all the animals tak nak keluar kesian the kids tak dapat tengok. So rumah yang di booked pun won't be available till Tuesday. Meanwhile we all akan duk kat rumah cousin Mak Nah (2 orang jejaka handsome dulu 3 sorang dah kawin) kat Thornlie...Di sebabkan terlalu xcited we all decided petang baru gi rumah they all terus nak gi city of Perth....
Reached city cari breakfast tak ada kedai bukak. Ha..ha..mana-mana dalam dunia ni kalau negara Mat Salleh mesti Sunday tu betul-betul holiday.....Jenuh round memang tak de kedai bukak pagi ma. Kids dah kelaparan....
Then decided beli roti buat sandwich ye.. makan ngan tuna bawak from KL.So the place nak picnic ni? Well King's Park ler...the largest inner city park in the world. They claimed its bigger than NY central Park.Memang cantik, stunning city and river views..about 400 hectares of natural busshland and parkland...a place to visit for tranquility and quiet reflection but with 8 kids...he..he...Oyeek told me the river supposed to be the most romantic river... again with 8 kids everything so unromantic ha..ha...


After guling-guling atas rumput(rumput dia bersih lah kalau the dogs do do kat sini tuan dia kena saman...(ada signboard)...makan, run here and there and of course the toilet...we decided to go to Freemantle. (Penatnye dari landing sampai la..terus jalan...:o)

Perth Part 1

At last today I am going to write up about our adventure to Perth, Western Australia. First of all, Lemongrass sorry tak sempat contact you…frust I tak dapat tengok the cute misses. Anyway you duk which part of Perth? Panjang citernya…balik from Dungun , I dah demam teruk, batuk and everything. Telanlah antibiotic coz nak sihat gi sana. Alhamdulillah managed to finish the packing, collect the children from schools tapi my house tak sempat kemas..o.la.la. The week before pergi tak sempat nak surf internet pun…lagi worst the broadbands selalu down...higher traffic kot.


So finally….the day to depart pun sampai. We all left the house around 7.00 pm. Went to collect Pak Su…we stopped at Taman Samudra to grab some OTAI burger buat alas perut.
Arrived at the LCCT around kul 8.00 rushing solat…Pak Nah and family dah tunggu. They all sampai ealier..checked in (just imagine 12 orangnye citer...panjang lebar lah masa checked in) dengan beg and stroller..Then dinner time, we all dah kenyang tapi teman lah jugak family Pak Nah makan...suddenly dengar dah panggil for boarding ola la...first mistake..flight kul 11.00 pm not 12.00 am..mama..mama. Sampai gate dah panjang q..we missed the calling for mother with babies (tapi sometimes AirAsia dia tak peduli pun...I travel sorang masa princess baby pun kena Q gak..)So our group consider yang last boarding.
Jauh gak nak jalan from the gate to the plane...then bila nampak the plane its written Air Mauritius still white and red la the color..then King tanya Pak Nah..eh ngko booked tiket nak gi Perth ke Mauritius ni? He..he..the answer...AirAsia announced that the Airbus yang they all order lum sampai so meanwhile they chartered Air Mauritius la, kira tag line dia Air Mauritius operated by AirAsiaX..tapi okay apa, confortable even though dia cheap airline.So sudah semesti lah cabin crew and the captain pun orang Mauritiuskan..then I seperti biasa akan tanya soalan-soalan bodoh kat King..Pa dia rang macam Melayu ek (nope awak yang macam dia orang), dia orang cakap bahasa apa? (their language n French)...:) kekadang I pelik la my husband ni dia jarang membaca or surfing (I am the opposite) tapi dianya general knowledge like he knows everything...the answer..the white hair will make you wiser ha..ha..Nak take off pun satu hal gak Zeeshan tak nak pakai seat belt..yelling and crying, alhamdulillah my princess ok, duduk diam pakai seat belt between us. Then the food served..then everybody dozed off xcept me. Ha..I memang takut naik plane tau..kalau my flight 12 jam..for the 12 hours tu la I tak tidor...Takut tapi terpaksa berani kalau tak kena tinggal nanti.
Then at 5 am waktu Perth the captain announced that we all nak landing dah...as usual I kena isi all the 6 landing forms..lengoh mama.The landing tak smooth langsung (tak macam MASnye landing he..he..)then baru I tahu King cakap dia tak smooth ada air turbulence or was it (air pocket?) coz its very very windy...hem baru I paham(see he knows everything).
Kat airport just imagined la dengan 4 half matured guys and girls (oyeek,champ,qobb and kak Fira) then the other 4 kiddos...(Shasha,Debby,Princess n Zeeshan)lama nye yang pi toilet la nak susu la tukar diapers la...:) havoc lah jugak before sampai ke imigration.

As expected the Australian very strict about what you bringing in...I declared everything the instant noodles,enfagrow, ventolin,kuaci(King addicted to this),and all our junk foods..He..he..semua lepas xcept for princessnye 6 packs MILO. The officer said kalau made in Singapore or Indonesia boleh but from Malaysia tak leh..well no dairies to OZ remember that! Rasa cam masa gi Mekah, kena Q lama, nak kena scanned bags..ish ish. Or is it sebab we all ramai? And alhamdulillah my batuk senyap jap masa the whole process ni kalau tak mungkin lagi panjang citer....Okay next will be our ground adventures lak....
